In 2008, we decided to buy and restore an older, sea-going sailboat, the kind that could take us around the Puget Sound and across oceans if we desired. Five years and many lessons later, we have left the inland waters of the Puget Sound, the Salish Sea, “turned left,” and pointed our bow to the slightly more-southern latitudes of California andMexico, and from there, we do not yet know!
